Said Patrick Paul, CEO/Executive Director of Anderson Center for Autism: “2024 marks our Centennial year at Anderson Center for Autism, and we’ve been hosting events in honor of our 100th anniversary since January. On each occasion, we’ve noticed just how far people are willing to travel to join us for our fundraisers – the golf classic is a perfect example. I am reminded that our organizational longevity is due in large part to the expansive circle of support we have at Anderson; we are extremely grateful to everyone who makes our events, and all of our work, a success.”

Eliza Bozenski, Chief Development Officer, Anderson Foundation for Autism, added: “Without question, the funds we raised at the golf classic showcase the collective commitment of families, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and trustees. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of generosity, which indeed feels extra-meaningful in this our Centennial year.”

According to the Centers for Disease Control, 1 in 36 are now diagnosed with autism, a neurological disorder that presents with communication, sensory processing, and socialization challenges. Anderson’s programs draw students and residents from all over the United States; in addition, scholars come from all corners of the globe to receive training from Anderson so that they can establish programs for people with autism upon returning to their home countries.
Sponsors of the event included Oldies 98.9, The Kollar Family, Guth DeConzo, Solutions ATI, Day Seckler, Hudson Valley Magazine, McCarthy’s Pharmacy, NFP, and MiniCo Insurance. Event proceeds topped $110,000, which exceeded the total amount raised in any of the previous outings.
