Amanda’s journey in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) began with a passion for applying behavior analytic principles to enhance employee and workplace dynamics. As the Coordinator of Behavioral Skills Training at the Anderson Center for Autism in Staatsburg, NY, she innovates ways to capture performance data and deliver effective, efficient staff training.
Amanda proudly holds an MA in Psychology from the University at Buffalo (2015, Go Bulls!) and a PhD in Psychology with an ABA concentration from Capella University (2023). Her teaching career spans Capella University, Manhattanville College, SUNY New Paltz, and SUNY Empire. In July 2024, she stepped into a full-time professorship at Capella University in the School of Behavioral Science and ABA Department. Amanda is unwavering in her commitment to compassionate and equitable practices in higher education, continually striving to make a positive impact on her students and colleagues.
Amanda serves as a dedicated NYSABA board member and marketing co-chair. She has also enjoyed presenting and contributing as a guest HUB member for the Anderson Education ECHO. She eagerly anticipates making a mark on the International ECHO.
