Anderson Family Partners
Anderson Family Partners (AFP) is integral to the success of every individual at Anderson because it is the direct tie between families and the Anderson professional team. Join today to share ideas, meet other families, and gain support.
AFP was established by parents, guardians and immediate family members of persons receiving supports from Anderson Center for Autism. It provides a strong family organization whose specific mission is to foster communication, education and support for the Anderson community; to assist with fundraising and advocacy; to serve as ambassadors and guardians of Anderson Center for Autism. It is our goal to have all Anderson families joining AFP as it is a way to meet other families, give and receive support, learn about important updates from members of the Anderson team, and enjoy the wonderful community of families who are here.
AFP Mission Statement: Anderson Family Partners (AFP) is a community of families and guardians of individuals served by Anderson Center for Autism (ACA). We are committed to supporting ACA in their mission of optimizing the quality of life for people with autism. We foster communication, education, and support for the Anderson population, their families, as well as the team members. We also partner with Anderson in community outreach, advocacy, and fundraising efforts.
“AFP gave my wife and I the support we needed along with the feeling we are not alone in one of the biggest decisions we needed to make for our child.” – Keith Cuttone, parent
“Every time we visit our son at Anderson Center for Autism, we feel inspired to give back. They’ve created such a positive, caring, and nurturing environment, and have done so much for people impacted by autism. Organizing a fundraising effort is just one small way we can help Anderson continue to make a big difference in so many lives.”– Andrea Lambe, parent
