It is a special year at the Dutchess County SPCA as they celebrate their 145th birthday!
The Dutchess County SPCA is the third oldest animal welfare organization in the country, a title they are immensely proud of.
Over the past 145 years, they have helped rescue over 50,000+ animals and worked to provide them with loving homes.
The DCSPCA has served over six generations of Hudson Valley residents and has strong ties to the history of the region. This is the party you do not want to miss!
Join our Executive Director, Board of Directors and prominent members of the community at this semi-formal event (cocktail attire) on Friday, October 28, 2016, for their Animal Kingdom Ball.
The DCSPCA is honoring community partners for their respective work supporting the animals – New York State Senator Sue Serino, Anderson Center for Autism, The Grace Smith House, Mill Street Loft, Animal Farm Foundation and over Six Generations of Dedicated Volunteers!
The evening begins at 7 p.m. with a cocktail reception, with passed hors d’oeuvres, live music provided by members of Stringendo.
As the sun sets over the Hudson River, fireworks will light up the sky.
The Mid-Hudson Bridge will also help celebrate by lighting up in the colors of the DCSPCA.
Take a trip down Memory Lane while viewing the virtual historical presentation showing the Dutchess County SPCA from its inception in 1871 through their new state-of-the-art Adoption & Education Center.
